TUTORING
APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE IN AUGUST At Victory we offer tutoring for individuals and small groups.* Tutoring instruction is for players whose performance in practice and games is not as good or as consistent as the player, the coach or the parent would like it to be. Victory helps your child take that next step by developing the key skills in the areas of passing, attacking, defending, serving and setting. Instruction is geared to age, ability, position played and experience. We tutor beginners as well as many of the top age group players in Ontario. If you cannot find a Victory camp that fits into your schedule then tutoring may be a viable alternative. With club and school tryouts coming up soon it is advisable get started in August. To arrange a tutoring date and time,
contact rick@victoryvolleyball.com.
In the initial email please include some date and time possibilities.
Information on tutoring rates and policies is available here.

NOTE TO PARENTS:
Unlike other camps, all Victory camps are instruction based
and include team play as a part of the curriculum. Other camps/leagues offer
a playing format with limited instruction and are primarily based on “having
fun”, so at the end of the session the participant has had fun, but the key
volleyball skills remain undeveloped. Victory camps are designed to improve
the key skills of passing, attacking, serving, setting, digging, blocking
and team play. Having fun is important but the main focus at Victory is on
skill development which requires listening and focusing, with repeated trials,
leading to success. The fun comes with the confidence that grows from being
a good player and making the school or club team of the player’s choice. Thus,
Victory camps may not be suitable for all children.
