Note to parents

Unlike other camps, all Victory camps are instruction based and include team play as a part of the curriculum. Other camps/leagues offer a playing format with limited instruction and are primarily based on “having fun”, so at the end of the session the participant has had fun, but the key volleyball skills remain undeveloped.

Victory camps are designed to improve the key skills of passing, attacking, serving, setting, digging, blocking and team play. Having fun is important but the main focus at Victory is on skill development which requires listening and focusing, with repeated trials, leading to success.

The fun comes with the confidence that grows from being a good player and making the school or club team of the player’s choice. Thus, Victory camps may not be suitable for all children.
